HalloCAWEB 2025
On the 31st of October, you would be wise not to linger too close to graveyards…
Legend has it that as night falls, strange creatures creep out of their hiding places and spill into fog-covered streets. Whether rooted in ancient folklore or born from dark and fantastical imagination, the creatures of Halloween continue to fuel countless tales and legends.

To carry on this celebration with Celtic origins and to strengthen the bonds between students, ADECAWEB organized a HalloCAWEB evening at Bar Le Tamil in the autumn of 2025.
On the agenda: mini pumpkin carving, a game of Werewolf* to keep with the spooky theme, and a costume contest with a trophy up for grabs. Activities calling for creativity for the first, the art of bluffing for the second, and a flair for performance for the third — in short, the perfect opportunity to practice valuable social skills while having fun.
Everyone had come dressed in their finest costume, and our table looked like quite the peculiar gathering — equal parts frightening and impressive. The Addams Family and a panther sat peacefully alongside Kiki the Little Witch and a vampiric-looking Rapunzel. Oh — could that be Tyler Durden and Richard Chesler, Fight Club’s iconic duo, over there? And what is an angel doing here? And who is that blue-hued mermaid?
All in all, a wonderful mix of cinematic and literary references — and a very successful first evening for ADECAWEB!
*Werewolf (also known as Mafia): a popular social deduction party game where players try to identify the “werewolves” hidden among the group before they eliminate everyone else.
