CAWEB & TCLOC 2025 Graduation Ceremony

The End of One Journey and the Beginning of a New Adventure

On Saturday, December 6th, 2025, the atmosphere in Strasbourg was festive  and not only because of Saint Nicholas Day. It was on this very date that the graduation ceremony for the CAWEB and TCloc master’s programs took place.Two distinct master’s programs, yet both centered around digital tools and foreign languages:the CAWEB master’s, focused on multilingual web communication and the TCloc master’s, focused on communication, translation, and localization.

Our association,ADECAWEB, was entrusted with the great responsibility of organizing the ceremony and ensuring it ran smoothly. The ceremony was held at the Palais Universitaire in Strasbourg, a stunning historical building whose architecture lent an extra touch of elegance to the event. The ADECAWEB team, supported by four volunteer first-year CAWEB students: Laura, Asya, Selma, and Lukas, handled photography and video coverage, the ceremony slideshow, sound ambiance, decoration, and guest reception. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to put skills such as creativity, attention to detail, and coordination into practice, and even to develop new ones.

Our main goal was to create a reception that felt both sophisticated and warm. We sincerely wanted this ceremony to remain a cherished and lasting memory for the new graduates and their loved ones.The ceremony featured several highlights, including speeches from professors and students, followed by the handover of diplomas by Ms. de la Paix, head of the CAWEB and TCloc programs. Beyond the logistics, this ceremony was above all an emotionally rich experience. Although it lasted only a few hours, it symbolized the culmination of several years of study, shaped by countless personal and family sacrifices.

Listening to the graduates speak, one feeling quietly stood out across the room: resilience. It was this same resilience that carried them through stressful days and sleepless nights filled with doubt, leading them to this moment on December 6th, 2025.
