Your favorite Alsatian dish and drink?
My favorite Alsatian dish is the tarte flambée or ‘Flammekueche’ in German.
What is your favorite place in Strasbourg?
Strasbourg cathedral is for me a magical place. I have visited many European cathedrals, but every time I visit the cathedral of Strasbourg, I have the feeling that it is unique. In addition, it is in a strategic location and it is amazing to visit it.
Why CAWEB Master? What characteristics have hooked you?
I chose the Caweb master’s because I was looking for a master’s that combines both theory and practice. I also wanted to integrate a master’s degree that would make me evolve at a personal level.
What is your background before CAWEB?
I did a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages (LEA), English-German. Despite the fact that my native language is Spanish, I chose German. Indeed, I already had some knowledge of the language but I must say that challenging myself is also part of my personality.
What did you do as an apprenticeship?
I did an apprenticeship in a new consulting company as an IT Project Manager.
What is your current post?
I am working as a IT Project Manager in the same company where I did my apprenticeship.
What is your best CAWEB student night?
I have never met my classmates personally. My training was entirely remote, especially because of Covid-19, but also because I chose to do my second year in EAD. The first time I saw them was on the occasion of the graduation ceremony that the CAWEB student association organized for us.
Who was your sidekick/best friend during your master’s degree?
My best friends from the master are Damla, Ozge, Olya, Bozhena, and Alice.
What is your unforgettable moment during the master’s?
An unforgettable moment of the master’s could be when I finished my dissertation. This is a task that requires time, a lot of research, and quotes.
Have you traveled with other students? if so, where and tell us more.
I am a traveler and I love nice adventures. However, I did not have the opportunity to travel with my colleagues. During my 3-week leave of absence, I was able to visit Poland, the Baltic Countries, and Finland.
What were the difficulties you had to face during your master’s degree?
The Caweb Master in EAD, in my opinion, is not very easy if we are not very organized. It is necessary to provide a time of adaptation and organization when we are distanced. However, over time, this becomes an advantage. I could say that thanks to the EAD I learned to better manage my working days and adapt.
Your suggestions so that we can better help the next caweb students to orient themselves and succeed in their journey?
It is necessary to have a good attitude, know how to manage working and training hours, and get used to being more autonomous.
What are your future plans?
The CAWEB Master has helped me a lot in my professional orientation. I started the year wishing to make web development my profession and I ended up, thanks to my travels also, wanting to work in digital marketing. Now I have my own travel brand designed to promote a lifestyle idea. In the future, I want to start my own business, continue to travel, and see the world. For me, this is not only a dream but also a goal to achieve.
